F.A.Q.

At Garage Perfect, we pay attention to details that other “garage experts” don’t. We thoroughly test your existing floor, ensuring it’s dry and ready for a new coating before offering an estimate. This eliminates any chance of a costly flooring failure a few years down the road.

Our company is environmentally conscious and avoids using harsh chemicals at all costs. Typically, we use a state of the art diamond finished grinder to repair problem areas in your concrete slab. Then, we grind away the top layer to expose concrete pores, creating a perfect surface for our coating system, without chemicals or fumes.

We believe in our products and we back them by providing a lifetime warranty. If you are planning to move or sell your home, you can transfer the warranty for your residential product up to and including ten years!

The cost of polyaspartic polyurethane garage floor coating is dependent on the size and condition of your current concrete floor. This is our most  affordable option for this type of flooring and, although you might find cheaper options, we offer the best value for your money. Also, we offer financing if the upfront cost seems unrealistic to your budget at this time.

Although oil and transmission fluid are not pavement friendly, your Garage Perfect flooring will not be damaged by leaky engines. Your new floor coating is resistant to oil, fuel and other automotive fluids.

No! If you’re looking for a slip resistant flooring option, Garage Perfect’s floor coating system coefficient of friction is higher than the public standard gradient required for ramps, walkways and restrooms.

Here are some factors that you should consider when choosing between Polyaspartic/Polyurea flooring and Epoxy:

  • Polyaspartic floor coating is four times stronger than epoxy.
  • Garage Perfect has an unbeatable warranty on our Polyaspartic flooring.
  • The Garage Perfect polyaspartic floor coating can be installed in one day in temperatures varying from -30 to 60 degrees Celsius.
  • Epoxy flooring often takes several days to harden, and can’t be applied in temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius.

The reason that Polyaspartic flooring takes one day to cure is because the substance is absorbed into the subfloor system whereas epoxy rests on top of the concrete. In short Polyaspartic Flooring is Garage Perfect’s most recommended flooring type because of its durability as well as the installation time.

Yes, we remove failing floors with a diamond tip industrial grinder and repair, fill, and re-polish the underlying surface. Also, we grind away a small layer of all concrete floors first for maximum coating adhesion. Call our experienced professionals for more information or for a quote today!

Absolutely! The Garage Perfect polyaspartic floor coating can be applied to most vertical surfaces. In fact, we highly recommend all concrete surfaces, including knee walls, be coated. Otherwise your concrete surfaces may appear uneven, unfinished, and unsightly.

We include crack repair in your flooring preparation before coating. Using angle grinders, our technicians remove concrete from both sides of the crack, then apply a rapid-cure polyurea crack filler. Call us today for your free comprehensive estimate on your unique flooring needs at 613-288-9315.

Of course! Our weather and waterproof Polyaspartic coating can adhere to other types of concrete surfaces and wood surfaces such as:

  • Pool decks
  • Sidewalks
  • Driveways
  • Porches
  • Patios
  • Walkways
  • Concrete surfaces

Also, Polyaspartic is UV stable, meaning the sun won’t degrade, fade, or yellow the surface.

With our polyaspartic option you can start walking on your floors within hours after the twenty-four-hour time period has elapsed. With epoxy flooring it could take up to four days before you can walk on the flooring.

One day after installation, the floor completely cures and you can resume parking your car on it. The surface is walkable four to six hours after we leave.

We recommend using gentle, eco-friendly options on your new flooring. Spills can be removed with paper towels or a soft sponge with soapy water. A safe option for cleaning is the combination of hot water and a squeegee. For stubborn stains, we suggest using Simple Green or a neutral detergent. Anything non-abrasive.
